Gown storage with Melbourne Gown Steam Service
Tips on keeping your gown in tip top shape till your wedding day.
Separate your Gown form other clothes - If you don’t have a dedicated wardrobe to hang your gown then store temporarily in a wedding dress box; we recommend padding with acid free tissue paper; arms, inside bodice, between layers of skirt and draping white cotton sheets.
Acid Free white non-bleached paper is recommended. Visit our website for more tips!
Marry Me Helley - How to choose a celebrant
My tip - Make sure you meet the Celebrant face to face so you can get an idea of what their personality is like.
Ask about their experience and read their reviews.
Ask yourself if they have the right 'vibe' for your wedding.
It's extremely important that you feel 100% comfortable with your Celebrant - after all they are the ones who marry you!
Wedding Tribe - How to choose vendors?
Our top tips for you!
Do your research before booking!
1. Is the business a registered business with a valid ABN? Everyone that promotes with us needs to supply and ABN. Sadly there are scammers that will take advantage of you.
2. What is their cancellation / rescheduling policy (in case you need to reschedule due to Covid). Hot topic at the moment, make sure you know your options.
3. Is there a contract - this protects you as well as them and ensures everyone is on the same page!

How to ensure a smooth wedding ceremony
Here are my top 3 tips to ensure your wedding ceremony will be as smooth as possible:-
1) Have a wedding ceremony rehearsal
2) Take your time walking down the aisle
2) Speak loudly when you say your vows

Mark Avellino Photography - How to select a Photographer?
My top tip is that when selecting a photographer a couple needs to meet the photographers they are shortlisting. There is no point booking a person just based on their online profile or price. The benefit of this meet up is that you will be able to sit down and actually get to know the person a bit better. It will ultimately allow you to know if they are a good fit for you and whether you can work together. Wedding Photography is ultimately the partnership between client and photographer.

Keeping It Simple: Wedding planning can be quite daunting with so many things on your list to do. The key to a smooth ceremony is keeping it simple. You as the couple should shine. Simple includes chairs, aisle runner and a focal point such as an arbour.

CW Gown Preservation
Top Tip: Have your dress cleaned as soon as possible after your big day by a professional wedding dress cleaner. The longer you leave it the more the stains set in. Also, don’t store it in or near plastic, if you have no other option then simply wrap it in a cotton sheet.

"I thought a lot about what my top tip from the videography industry would be. I have quite a few: think outside the box, don’t forget a bag and a coat to go with the dress. But honestly, my most genuine tip is this, as boring and predictable as it is:
If you’re paying more for the dress (worn once) than the video (watched over and over again, with family and friends, on your 10 year anniversary) - please, reconsider!"
